A woman owns and operates a small cafe when a man arrives with a rucksack and demands to be hired. She reluctantly agrees, and he becomes a live-in employee. His cooking is exceptional, and he accepts a very low hourly wage. As time passes, it becomes clear that the arrangement is more personal than professional.
