A character created by voice actress Horie Yui, Miss Monochrome first appeared in March 2012 as a 3D virtual singer performing at her concert *Horie Yui wo Meguru Bouken III ~Secret Mission Tour~. The character later appeared in merchandise and the social network game *Girlfriend (Beta)*. Miss Monochrome is defined by her preference for monochrome aesthetics, her aversion to color, and her desire to transform the world into a monochrome version.
