Mouryou Senki MADARA

A sword and sorcery series blends Japanese mythology with futuristic elements. A prophecy states that a young hero will overthrow the evil emperor Miroku and open a gateway to the legendary land of Agalta. To prevent this, Miroku has his newborn son, who possesses great power, dismembered and distributed among eight evil generals. The infant is discarded into a river but rescued by Tatara, who names him Madara and provides artificial limbs. Madara grows up alongside a girl named Kirin and, at 15, receives the sword Kusanagi and a mission to reclaim his missing body parts. As he journeys, he uncovers truths about his father, his heritage, and his abilities. He learns of three other individuals also believed to be the prophesied hero: Kaos, Seishinja, and his older twin brother, Kage-ou. The story follows Madara’s quest to defeat Miroku and his ultimate choice upon reaching the legendary portals.
