A boy named Kai witnesses his world being "overwritten," replacing the era in which humans, led by hero Sid, defeated the five tribes. In this new reality, humans lost the war, and dragons and demons now rule. Kai is forgotten by humanity but meets a mysterious girl named Rinne. Together, they seek to change this rewritten fate. In a world without heroes, Kai takes up the hero's sword and martial art to challenge the dominant enemy races.
