A girl who enjoys magic but has no other notable skills works part-time when she encounters a man capable of impressive magical feats. Intrigued, she approaches him to learn more. Believing magic is unimpressive, he initially dismisses it, but she aims to show its value and proposes collaboration. She begins high school alongside a scientist who loves pandas and is eccentric.
