Two high school athletes, Katsuya Nimi and Susumu Karasawa, witness a girl named Yuri Nakao crying after the school's baseball team suffers another loss. Yuri is the daughter of the baseball coach and fears the team will be disbanded if their losing streak continues. Motivated to help, Katsuya and Susumu decide to join the team with the goal of reaching Koshien. As Katsuya becomes increasingly fond of Yuri, their growing relationship faces challenges from several potential rivals. The story explores Katsuya's efforts to balance success in baseball with his feelings for Yuri. It also includes two additional one-shots: "Zoku Isourou yori Hitokoto" and "Koibito Sengen."
