Ningen Nyumon

In a mountain town called Niaru City, strange creatures resembling human heads have appeared. The townspeople have taken to calling them "Newmons." Aoi Tooi, a high school student, meets one of these creatures in the forest while he is in the midst of a suicide attempt. The encounter between the boy and the head-like being forms the basis of a delicate slice-of-life narrative, exploring how the two beings come to understand the meaning of life together.
