A teenage boy named Hata Kosaku is deeply affected when his favorite idol, Kusakabe Yuka, abruptly leaves the entertainment industry. His classmates at Tamo Agriculture School manage to get him out of his self-imposed isolation and back to class. Unexpectedly, a new student named Kinoshita Ringo joins the class. Kosaku recognizes her as Yuka and sees this as a rare chance to learn more about her and understand her sudden disappearance from the public eye. With the help of his friends, he attempts to uncover the reasons behind her new identity and their relationship begins to develop beyond that of typical classmates.
