Akira moves to Tokyo for a new job but finds his company and housing no longer exist. Struggling with unemployment and homelessness, he receives a text from Chihiro, his childhood friend. Chihiro offers shelter, food, and money, raising questions about his sudden generosity. Why does Chihiro regard Akira as his best friend despite years apart?
