Omega Megaera

In a society where individuals are categorized as alpha, beta, or omega in addition to their gender, alphas hold the highest status. Omegas are subjugated, valued primarily for their ability to bear children for alphas. Saimon, an omega, marries into the influential Hanabusa family but is ridiculed as a "Megaera" after failing to produce an heir for his alpha husband, Seijuro. Saimon is later tasked by the family patriarch, Zenjiro, with finding the man’s missing illegitimate son. He locates Mamiya, a street-dwelling omega who has kept his status hidden. Seeking to restore his standing, Saimon suggests presenting Mamiya as an alpha heir in an attempt to secure control of the Hanabusa family.
