Saiyuuki

A Buddhist priest named Genjo is sent from Shangri-La to investigate a disturbance in the natural order causing yokai spirits to run rampant. His journey takes him far west, accompanied by three yokai who each possess human souls. The trip is long and perilous, filled with unsettling encounters and revelations. Along the way, Genjo begins to question whether he can fully trust those traveling with him.
