Seirei no Moribito

Every century, a Water Fairy places an egg inside a human, designating them as the Guardian of Fairies. This duty is assigned to Chagum, the second prince of the New Yogo Kingdom. His life is difficult, as the king views him as a burden and tries to have him killed. To safeguard him, the queen requests that Balsa, a female guard, take on the role of his protector. Meanwhile, creatures called Nayugu from another realm repeatedly attack Chagum, seeking to consume the egg within his body.
