Shirobe

In a secluded mountain village in Japan called Ani, a large bear poses a threat. Desperate, the villagers plan to send their top hunting dog to confront it. However, the dog is pregnant. The manga portrays the natural cycle in all its beauty and harshness over the course of two volumes.
