Sister Red

Mahito resides with her father and cousin Erika, who moved in after losing her parents. During a stormy night, Mahito is struck and killed by a careless driver. She is later revived by an unknown woman who gives her a portion of her "sacred heart," transforming Mahito into a median, a type of undead being.
