His life changes when he joins the magic club and begins to form meaningful friendships. However, this period is interrupted by a shocking murder. This spinoff features Yoichi Takato, a character known as the "hellish puppet master" and a rival of Hajime Kindaichi from the main series. Despite being a high school student, Takato takes on the challenge of solving the murder case.
