Tenshuro lives alone in Nekomata Village, where a long-standing tradition requires a sacrifice to appease Nekobaba, a force of disaster. Tonight, his childhood friend Obai is to be offered in this ritual. Determined to save her, Tenshuro activates a cursed power within his blood. This same power was once used by his brother in the legend of Shuten-doji, an act that led to the destruction of their entire family.
