Toaru Hikuushi e no Tsuioku

A pilot in the Levamme Imperial Air Force, Charles, is given a classified mission: to travel 12,000 kilometers through enemy territory to transport Princess Fana to safety. He faces numerous enemy aircraft and heavily armed warships during the journey. The story explores the developing relationship between Charles, an orphan with no noble background, and the princess, who is bound by an inescapable fate. The work was ranked tenth in the 2009 edition of "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!"
