Tokyo Shounen Monogatari

Kichizo moves to the Tohoku countryside with his mother following his parents' divorce. He struggles with a sense of not fitting in. The story explores a young love that evokes bittersweet recollections of a summer long past. Another story, *Ganbatteya*, is also included, focusing on themes of growing up.
