Kaneko Sachi moves into a new apartment where she encounters a fully grown Zashikiwarashi, a traditional spirit said to bring fortune or misfortune. Despite her history of bad luck, she begins to experience positive changes. The building's residents, including the landlord and caretaker, each have unusual traits.
