A student discovers a magical book named the Dream Collet in a library and encounters Coco and Nuts, beings from the Palmier Kingdom. Their world was destroyed by the Nightmares, and they ask her to rebuild it by completing the Dream Collet and collecting 55 Pinkies, which can grant any wish. At the same time, the Nightmares are encroaching on the real world. After agreeing to assist, Coco and Nuts transform her into the magical girl Cure Dream and convert four classmates into her Pretty Cure team.
