An earthquake in Japan disturbs ancient fossils, causing evil yokai spirits to appear as massive monsters heading toward Tokyo. Watanabe, an elementary school student, discovers he is the unsuspecting heir to a lineage of legendary monster hunters. He must use this inherited power to stop the yokai from destroying the city.
