Was married to the mangaka Nekojiru. After his wife's suicide, Yamano started using the pen-name Nekojiru-y, and took over Nekojiru's world. He continues to produce new works. Currently on his official site, one can read a free chapter of Nekojiru's manga. His real name is Hashiguchi Yasuo.
