Gorou Taniguchi

Famous directorial works include [Planetes](https://anilist.co/anime/329/), [Scryed](https://anilist.co/anime/168/), [Infinite Ryvius](https://anilist.co/anime/593/) as well as [Code Geass](https://anilist.co/anime/1575/), which is an original story created by him and the series' lead writer [Ichirou Ookouchi](https://anilist.co/staff/98067/). Taniguchi is the one who proposed the idea to the producers at Sunrise. The basic idea for the plot consisted of a "hero" who led a secret organization, which was later developed into a conflict between two characters with different values and who belonged to the same military unit.
