Umaru invites Nana over for a study session, surprising Taihei as it involves Umaru actually keeping the room tidy in order to keep up her slob life a secret from her. Later, Umaru tries to awaken Taihei on his day off in order to pass the time. Another day, Umaru has Taihei enter a contest to win a giant plushie, which he ends up giving to Nana. A few days later, Taihei takes advantage of another encounter with Nana to prevent Umaru from forcing him to buy a new game for her.
