Even though Conan knew the culprit is Banno Teigo, he still haven’t figure out the trick he used to write the words on his face. After realising he overthink things, Conan solved the trick the culprit used. However, Banno Teigo got angry and attempt to escape. Wakasa sensei protected the detective boys, pretend to fall down while tripping him and knock him out cold. Outside, the reporters took picture of Wakasa sensei, Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko and reported the case online and in newspaper. Hyoue Kuroda and Wakita Kanenori are seen watching the news closely.
