Deuxième volet d'une compilation en deux parties de la série Mawaru Penguindrum, comprenant des ajouts inédits. Pour sauver leur petite sœur Himari, les frères jumeaux Kanba et Shoma Takakura recherchent le Penguindrum, guidés par la direction d’un chapeau de penguin mystérieux. En parallèle, l’élève Ringo Oginome continue à accomplir les événements répertoriés dans son journal, persuadée de son destin prédéterminé. Masako Natsume reste résolue à mettre la main sur le journal de Ringo, espérant qu’il l’aidera à trouver une nouvelle voie. Dix ans se sont écoulés depuis le début de leur quête du Penguindrum, et Kanba et Shoma, qui autrefois voyageaient dans un train qui avait bouleversé leur vie, sont brièvement revenus à l’endroit qui a façonné leur destin.
