Akame ga Kill!

A corrupt Prime Minister manipulates the Emperor's military, including soldiers, assassins, and secret police, to oppress the population. Night Raid, a group of elite assassins, opposes this regime, each member wielding an Imperial Arm—powerful ancient weapons. Tatsumi, saved from a grim fate by Night Raid, is given the opportunity to join them, though few can control an Imperial Arm and even fewer survive when such weapons clash.
