Kanade Kohinata, a high school sophomore known as a "genius violinist," struggles to advance her musical growth. She reconnects with her childhood friend Ritsu Kisaragi at his concert and meets his younger brother, Kyoya. Ritsu insists that both Kanade and Kyoya transfer to his school, Seiso Academy, to train for a national music competition. As Kanade interacts with the Kisaragi brothers and other young men, her feelings become complicated.
