Nodame Cantabile

Shinichi Chiaki is a top-tier musician aiming to perform with elite European orchestras. Born into a respected family, he holds himself and others to high standards. His fear of flying prevents him from pursuing opportunities abroad, keeping him in Japan. While studying at the country's premier music university, he encounters Noda Megumi, who calls herself Nodame. She appears disheveled and directionless, but impresses him with her piano skills. To his surprise, she moves into the apartment next to his and confesses her deep affection for him. The series follows Chiaki and Nodame as they navigate their relationship and support each other in their pursuit of musical excellence.
