A massive online game called Elder Tales becomes a reality when its twelfth expansion causes players to be trapped inside the game world. Shiroe, an experienced player, along with his friend Naotsugu and a skilled assassin named Akatsuki, must adapt to this new existence where the game's characters are real and the usual strategies no longer work.
