Oct 5, 2013Shiroe, Naotsugu, and Akatsuki are ambushed by Briar Weasel monsters in the Archive Tower Forests. Earlier, a game update trapped Shiroe in the District of Akihabara within Elder Tales, preventing logout. He contacts Naotsugu and Akatsuki, then meets Marielle of the Crescent Moon Alliance. They learn teleportation gates across Japanese districts are offline and guild recruitment is active following the Novasphere Pioneers update. The trio discusses in-game death consequences before the ambush. They defeat the weasels by physically moving their avatars instead of using preset commands. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure observes Serara fleeing two players while calling Marielle in panic.
EP 2Shiroe and Naotsugu defeat an ambush party in Akihabara to uncover the motive behind recent player killings.
Oct 12, 2013Shiroe realizes the game persists after death when a player revives at the cathedral. Following a Crescent Moon Alliance meeting, he and his allies learn of rising player killings in Akihabara. After training, they anticipate an ambush and force a confrontation. Their teamwork overwhelms the attackers, whose leader attempts to call reinforcements only to find they were already defeated by Akatsuki. The leader feigns defeat to attack Shiroe but is killed by Akatsuki. Shiroe deduces the killings are for entertainment, as players can survive in-game without action. Maryelle calls to say she will lead a rescue party to retrieve Serara in the District of Susukino, asking Shiroe to guard the guild. Instead, Shiroe and his friends decide to go in her place.
EP 3Shiroe's group explores the Depths of Palm dungeon while Marielle meets Akihabara guilds.
Oct 19, 2013Shiroe and his companions surprise Marielle with their progress upon reaching the Depths of Palm dungeon. Serara remains safe under Nyanta’s protection after he rescued her. The Brigandia guild continues looting the district while Marielle holds meetings with smaller Akihabara guilds, and a mysterious guild master observes these events. Shiroe’s team attempts to cross an ancient bridge that collapses, causing him to fall into the water below. He recalls his time with the Debauchery Tea Party before regaining consciousness, having been saved by his friends. The group eventually defeats a new Novasphere Pioneers creature serving as the dungeon boss. After winning, they exit to view the sunset over the channel. Meanwhile, Brigandia guild master Demiqa issues a manhunt for Serara and Nyanta.
EP 4Shiroe and allies face Brigandia ambush in Susukino before returning to Akiba.
Oct 26, 2013Shiroe, Naotsugu, Nyanta, and Serara arrive in Susukino, wary of a Brigandia ambush. Shiroe reunites with Nyanta and Serara, learning Nyanta protected her. They execute a plan to leave, but are surrounded by the Brigandia guild. Shiroe provokes Demiqas into a duel with Nyanta, whose swashbuckler sub-class inflicts severe status ailments. Demiqas calls for aid, but Naotsugu intercepts the reinforcements. Both Naotsugu and Nyanta suffer critical health drops, requiring Serara to heal them. Despite limited healing effects, Naotsugu draws enemy fire, buying time for Shiroe to ensnare Demiqas. Nyanta defeats Demiqas while Akatsuki observes their teamwork. Serara delivers the final blow to protect Shiroe. With the mission complete, the group summons three griffons and travels back to Akiba.
EP 5Shiroe's group camps after escaping Susukino and meets Fedor in a farming village.
Nov 2, 2013Following their escape from Susukino, Shiroe and his companions establish a camp where Nyanta demonstrates his culinary skills by explaining that only chefs can prepare flavorful food. He, Shiroe, and Naotsugu share their past as the Debauchery Tea Party, prompting Akatsuki to reflect on her own limitations. Shiroe recalls mentoring Tohya and Minori, who recently joined a guild in Akiba. A thunderstorm forces the party into a farming village where they meet Fedor, leading Shiroe to observe that locals possess more humanity than adventurers. Meanwhile, Tohya and Minori are exploited by their guild. When Tohya departs the next day, he sees Shiroe’s group return to Akiba but hesitates to approach them.
EP 6Shiroe resolves to dismantle Hamelin's monopoly with his new guild, Log Horizon.
Nov 9, 2013The Crescent Moon Alliance celebrates Serara's return while concealing Nyanta's culinary secrets. Marielle reveals that Shiroe's absence caused social division, as Hamelin recruited low-level players to monopolize items after the level cap increased to 100. Shiroe reflects on his self-imposed limitations, realizing Nyanta was right that he ignored Akiba's true state despite his friends' support. After contacting Minori to understand their plight and promising rescue, Shiroe gains new determination. He then asks the Crescent Moon Alliance to assist Log Horizon in ending Hamelin's scheme and restoring goodwill to the city.
EP 7Crescent Moon Alliance secures funding and opens a profitable food stall while Shiroe recruits Soujirou Seta for the next phase.

Henrietta and Shiroe direct Marielle to approve a five million gold budget request, exploiting the lack of strict currency rules in Elder Tales. The following day, the Alliance opens a food booth that quickly becomes popular in the city despite initial citizen reluctance. The stall generates over forty thousand gold in profit, limited only by Akiba's population and daily serving capacity. Shiroe hands the next plan stage to Henrietta and updates Minori, asking her to wait. That night, Shiroe and Nyanta recruit Soujirou Seta, a former Debauchery Tea Party member and master of the Brigade of the West Wind guild, who agrees to help. The next day, Shiroe initiates the second stage of his strategy.

He has Marielle and Henrietta introduce Michitaka and Roderic, masters of the Marine Agency and Roderic Merchant Guild, forcing Karashin to accept the proposition at a reduced price. Meanwhile, Minori laments her struggles with Touya in Elder Tales, feeling they ignored Shiroe's advice and are unworthy of rescue. EP 9Shiroe secures control during the Round Table Conference to enforce order.
Nov 30, 2013Shiroe initiates the Round Table Conference by proposing improvements to the city's living conditions, which causes William Massachusetts of the Silver Sword guild to leave in disinterest. Shiroe proceeds to explain the conference's formation while addressing the dire situation in Susukino and the Hamelin captives' escape preparations. Isaac of the Black Sword Knights argues against laws due to the world's lack thereof, and Krusty of D.D.D. questions the consequences of refusing such laws, leading Shiroe to propose harsh sanctions. Tensions rise as Eins of Honesty, Isaac, and Krusty debate the conference's flaws, with Isaac threatening war. Shiroe reveals he acquired the Guild Building for five million gold, using this absolute control to blackmail the guilds. Meanwhile, Minori and Touya are captured by Schreider during the Hamelin Hall escape, but Shiroe successfully blacklists all Hamelin members with his friends' help. The episode concludes with Shiroe making a final pitch while Isaac demands details of his plan.

Shiroe argues that manual creation drives economic demand, then proposes laws banning player violence and ensuring guild freedom. He extends these rights to Landers, surprising attendees. With Marielle’s support, he persuades guild masters of the Landers' value and the necessity of peaceful coexistence. The leaders unanimously agree to form the Round Table, announce the decision to the city, and hold a celebration. A week later, Shiroo establishes Log Horizon’s headquarters and recruits Touya and Minori. Meanwhile, spies infiltrate Akiba, reporting back to Serjiad Corwen of the League of Freedom Cities of Estal.

Jan 4, 2014Academic Regan details the World Fraction spell’s three historical uses to Shiroe and Akatsuki, who deduces the final instance was the Apocalypse. Regan recounts how Human, Elf, and Dwarf races destroyed the Alv kingdom due to technological envy, prompting surviving Alves to cast the first World Fraction. This created endlessly respawning demi-humans, triggering a world war that led humanity to forge hybrid races. Desperation forced the second World Fraction, summoning adventurers. Regan notes Shiroe’s name in history, which Shiroe verifies by correlating the game’s open beta start with his Elder Tales playtime using the world’s time rate. Regan also presents his Spiritual Theory, suggesting memories are lost as experience points during revival. Shiroe chooses to keep this theory secret from the Round Table for now. They realize neglecting People quests for Akiba's development allowed the Goblin King to unite his forces. Rayneshia's father departs to defend Maihama, and the training group detects a raid on Choushi. Shiroe summons Soujirou to guard the Palace of Eternal Ice. He then shares his hypothesis that in-game death causes memory loss, which Krusty confirms by admitting his own past memory loss.
