Makina lost consciousness as the Marishi Machina suit from Hyuga Corporation took control of her body, forcing her onto the Shutoko expressway on an MT-07. Dan stopped her just in time, and together they rode back toward the Genesis Café on his MT-09 Street Rally. They were intercepted by Mitsukuni Hyuga, the company chairman, who appeared troubled.
