Six months after Tagami Keisei's death, caused by the Shichisei, a group of high-ranking Shikabane, Kagami Ouri formed a temporary contract with Makina to prevent her transformation into a Shikabane. Ouri is now training to become a qualified monk to maintain the contract and assist Makina in battling the Shichisei, responsible for killing Keisei, Makina, and the Hoshimura family.
