Sora Tobu Yuurei Sen

A city is destroyed by a giant robot, killing Hayato's parents. His only remaining companion is his dog, Jack, and he keeps his mother's shoe and a photo of his real parents, as revealed by his dying father. Seeking revenge against the Ghost Ship, blamed for sending the robot, Hayato discovers a hidden factory owned by Mr. Kurosio, who controls much of the city. He learns that Kurosio's stories are false, and a dangerous figure resides in an underwater castle. Hayato attempts to expose the truth but faces threats from those who want to remain hidden. He is rescued by the Ghost Ship's captain, leading him toward revelations beyond his initial quest.
