Toaru Kagaku no Railgun

A city known for its advanced technology, this setting is approximately two to three decades ahead of the global standard, with a population of 2.3 million, most of whom are students. The educational focus centers on developing esper abilities. One of the most powerful espers resides here and lives with another high-level esper affiliated with a student-run law enforcement group called Judgement. They both attend an exclusive private school for high-level students. A member of Judgement partners with a lower-level esper who goes to a different school and is friends with a classmate who does not possess any esper abilities. The four experience various events in this technologically advanced city.
