Yuu Koito expected love to be extraordinary, but when a male friend asks her out, she feels indifferent. Struggling to respond, she listens in as the student council president, Touko Nanami, refuses a similar request. With Touko's guidance, Yuu declines her friend's proposal. However, Touko later admits she is developing feelings for Yuu, confusing Yuu, who is unsure of her own emotions. As Yuu joins the student council and spends more time with Touko, her uncertainty deepens. She begins to question her feelings as she realizes emotions are not always within one's control.
