Yukio Tanaka lacks hobbies, has little interest in music, and shows little personality. He feels unexciting and is held back by his shy, anxious nature. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Ryusuke Minami, a 16-year-old from America known for his unpredictable behavior and membership in a rock band called Beck, named after his dog.
