Golden Kamuy

A former Russo-Japanese War soldier named Saichi Sugimoto struggles to survive in Hokkaido during a postwar gold rush. After discovering a map to a stash of Ainu gold, he begins a dangerous journey to locate it. Others also seek the treasure, and those who know of its existence are willing to kill for it. Sugimoto must rely on his skills and the assistance of an Ainu girl named Asirpa to endure the brutal wilderness, evade violent criminals, and outlast former Japanese soldiers turned mercenaries.
