In 1924, in the small Alpine country of Sauville, Kazuya Kujo studies at Saint Marguerite Academy, where local legends and ghost stories circulate. He pays little attention to them, except for the tale of the "Queen Berry," a ghost ship. His intelligent friend Victorique is more interested in real-life mysteries and solves them with sharp logic, often outperforming local detectives. Her curiosity leads the pair to a ship matching the "Queen Berry's" description, possibly linked to a dark mystery. The story pairs Victorique, a delicate girl with doll-like features, with Kazuya, her enthusiastic companion, in a modern take on a classic detective duo.
