Yuuki Rito is a typical high school boy, socially awkward and hesitant around girls. His life changes when an alien princess appears in his home, leading to an accidental engagement with Lala. He gets caught up in alien political conflicts and comedic situations involving multiple female characters. In a later continuation, Lala’s younger sister Momo seeks to wed Rito, but only if he becomes emperor of their space-faring realm, a position that permits polygamy.
