The DATS arrive at Dr. Noguchi's home, but Ikuto runs away in shock and denial at the sight of his human mother. Drowned in his sorrowful thoughts, Ikuto recalls his memories of Yukidarumon's death, which bring him grief. At the Noguchi's home, the Professor explains that his wife, Misuzu, went into shock and a partially catatonic state after the search for Ikuto in the Digital World confirmed his disappearance. Suddenly, an anomalous thunderstorm strikes the house, causing the digital gate to open up, and Hagurumon comes from it.
