In the interrogation room, Takahiro Matoi tells the police that he could not recall a thing after he had drinks with the victim, Shiori Jojima, and two other colleagues. Meanwhile, Conan and Haibara just arrive as they are asked by the Detective Boys to help find a cat for an old lady. While they are looking for it, they see Takagi and Chiba doing some kind of investigation. It turns out that the two are looking for a person that wore construction site uniform at the time where Matoi was drunk to confirm the alibi for Matoi. The boys are also curious about what happened to Matoi, so they ask Takagi and Chiba, to which they tell that Matoi was drunk somewhere around the location they are, and he saw someone on the other side of a wall that is opposite to where he was sitting. However, the person is revealed to be Genta and Mitsuhiko as they were looking for the cat up in the wall for some reason. (Source: DCW Wiki)
