Ep. 17: Transformasi Ajaib Putri Duyung! Cure La Mer!

Picking up from the last episode, while Cure Summer and the other Cures search for Laura, the Witch warns Laura to not interfere with her efforts before sending her generals to steal more motivation. As such, Summer and her comrades are forced to surface to engage two Zenzen Yaraneedas summoned by Chongire and Numeri. Meanwhile, Laura locates Kururun and tasks her to steal the basement key as part of her escape, but gets caught by the Witch and Butler as she tries to claim back her Mermaid Aqua Pot. While Laura evades the Witch, she gets bested by Butler, forcing Kururun to save her. The Mermaid Queen congratulates Laura for finding the Pretty Cure, but Laura wants to help her friends who are currently struggling to defeat their enemies and is given a rocky object to aid her in that new desire. Laura hurries back to Manatsu and her friends to protect them, with her getting her Heart Kuru Ring and the stone from the object cracking, revealing to be her Mermaid Aqua Pact, which allows Laura to transform into Cure La Mer. With this new power, La Mer revives her comrades, salvages the monsters' stolen motivation and leads the others in finishing off the enemies.
