Tsutsumi Mokoto, the sister of famed Nerima University scientist Tsutsumi Moriya, is attempting to learn more about Lab 7 and their research. While Hiroshi and Tenma are at a board meeting with the school staff in order to present their Bewusstsein system, she sneaks into the scrapyard where Lab 7 is located only to be confronted by Ochanomizu Ran, a girl who is acquainted with the members of Lab 7, and has become infatuated with A106 after seeing it save everyone during the parade. When Mokoto goes off to see Lab 7's presentation, Ran is attacked by a rogue robot, only to once again be saved by A106.
