Kuro befriends a kitten called Butch and his younger siblings after saving them from a dog attack, They inform him that they are under constant ambush from a pack of cyborg dogs. The dogs happen to be under the control of an American scientist, Big (known as Whitewoods in the manga), They're overpowered but later get some help from Dr Go who modifies the kittens with cybernetic upgrades.
