第53話: 聖なる紋章が砕かれ、デジモンアドベンチャーの仲間たちはデータ空間へと削除されてしまう。その絶望的な状況の中で、彼らはアポカリモンと対峙することになる。

Although the Dark Masters are defeated, it's not enough to stop the complete destruction of the Digital World and the children and Digimon are forced to face the true mastermind of all the chaos: Apocalymon. Revealing himself to be a disturbed figure, Apocalymon explains he was born from the data of deceased Digimon deemed unfit to exist in the Digital World and intends to act out his rage and hate on the DigiDestined. While revealing his ability to replicate the attacks of previous Digimon the DigiDestined fought, Apocalymon regresses their partner Digimon to the their usual forms before using Devimon's Dark Claw to grab the Crests and shatter them. From there, Apocalymon proceeds to delete the kids and their Digimon as they all end up in the data space. After being re-encouraged by their Digimon partners with the memories of what they have been through, the DigiDestined learn that the true Crest power has been inside them along. After digivolving their Digimon into their strongest forms, the DigiDestined return to the Digital World to confront Apocalymon again. (Source: Wikipedia)
