Gran and the others try to convince Katalina, but Katalina's determination does not waver. Due to a past incident, Katalina feels indebted to Vira and wants to provide her support after the many years of pressure and loneliness Vira has endured as Lord Commander. Meanwhile, upon discovering the Empire's hidden agenda behind their pardon, the crew declare the deal between them void and rush to Albion Castle to stop Luminiera from being transferred to Katalina.
