Yu Nishinoya "Noya" returns and helps the team start getting better with receiving the ball. However Noya refuses to play in any game until their ace, Asahi Azumane returns. Meanwhile advisor Ittetsu Takeda continues to pursue Keishin Ukai as the next coach of Karasuno High. Keishin tells him he isn't like his grandfather and has no interest in babysitting a bunch of teenage boys, but Ittetsu comes up with a plan he believes will pull Keishin into the world of coaching.
