Inuyasha and Kagome come across Shippo, a mischievous orphaned fox yōkai, who seeks to take a shard of the Shikon Jewel to avenge the death of his father, who has recently been killed by Hiten and Manten of the Thunder Brothers. Kagome is abducted by Manten to the mountains, after trying to defend Shippo. Inuyasha and Shippo travel to the mountains, seeing Kagome held hostage. (Source: Wikipedia)
