Malduk, with assistance from Maria, slaughters the Black Edge but is forced to retreat when the Orvelia army closes in on him, leaving Riheet and Ripine as the only survivors. Meanwhile, Kasel awakens from a two-week coma after his fight with Malduk. Concerned about his own mental state, he decides to strengthen his mind and heart to properly wield the Holy Sword Eia.
